About Player Projects.

Player Projects are similar in functionality to character-run businesses, but focused instead on character-run projects intended to improve quality of life and the chances of survival. For example, if a character has taken over food prep, repairs in a certain area, agricultural projects, or any similar type of project, you can list it here so others can participate or learn about what's going on in the city. They're a lot like jobs: completely informal, as there's no real 'employment' or economy in Anchor (yet), but they can serve as a gateway for potential CR, especially when projects have positions that require specific skillsets and roles.

While player projects are headed up by one particular character, they should still be cooperative and open to participation by other characters with similar interests and skills. If a character spearheading a project is dropped, they can either arrange for another character to take it over as-is, or someone else can take up the mantle once it's abandoned and reboot it from the point it was at.

To claim a player project, your character should have already started working towards a particular goal and have established interest within game canon, even if only for a few comments. Once the project is chosen and settled, reply to this entry with the required pertinent information - as long as it has the necessary information your fellow players would need to understand the project and join in if their character has interest is there, that's all you need. Once the page is created, please submit the pertinent information from the textbox at the bottom of this entry in response to the submissions thread, and your project will be linked in the form below.

Character Name: Cho Takahashi
Open or Closed: Closed-ish in the very short term (because the area is infested with dangerous things that must be cleaned out) and soon to become a more inclusive project.
How to Join: Cho will be reaching out to some people to help her get the area cleaned up properly after the fungus has receded and it's safe-ish to move about again. If you would like your character to be involved, let me know OOC and I'll do my best to arrange an IC reason for her to ask for their help. Once it's cleared out and the facility is up and running, I'll update this.
Project Information: Getting the Hatchery and Bio-Lab up and running. They are useful things, and Cho knows how to make them work. So she's going to be putting a lot of her energy into doing just that. Making them work! Hopefully she (with the help of some volunteers) will be able to fast track some food production so they can get crops in the works, and also a steady supply of fish as food.
Characters Involved: So far it's Finnick and Peter who will be helping clean out the area, and Finnick and Annie who will be helping with getting the hatchery back into working order once it's safe to do so.
