mod contact.

Your friendly neighborhood mod team.
Redshift's mod team consists of two people who are responsible for processing apps, as well as updating information on the various pages as creatures/locations/NPCs are submitted. They're also the ones documenting the changes made to the world of the game as players make those changes, but as of its transition into a sandbox game, are no longer leading the game in terms of an overarching plot. Most importantly, the mod team is here to make sure everyone has a good time, and to reinforce the rules if someone is a jerk and ruins someone else's aforementioned good time.
The mod team will do its best to answer any questions about the game world or respond to player concerns within 48 hours. Setting and game mechanic questions should be asked on the Settings & Location page or the Rules & Game Standards page, respectively.
Any other questions should be asked either via private message or in response to this entry. For announcements and to keep track of what's going on in the game, follow the game's plurk account.

The Barracks are all on the same level, but characters are free to live wherever they want in the city.

You wouldn't have to submit any additional CRAU history unless something that changed Diego's personality or powers significantly happened.
Thanks for letting us know.

Obviously dead characters are not-dead in the game. How does that work? Are they healed of their mortal injuries when they arrive? Are they taken from the moment before those injuries are sustained? I'm asking because I'm trying to figure out Patch's clothing situation. It hasn't become relevant yet, but I want to be prepared when it does. Did she arrive in bloodstained clothing with a bullet wound through the back of her jacket and shirt? Or is she just wearing what she died in, but in good, non-shot-up condition?

Also, just as a reminder, per the mod contact page: 'Setting and game mechanic questions should be asked on the Settings & Location page or the Rules & Game Standards page, respectively.'
This is to ensure that answers are easy to find by anyone looking for the information on the relevant page.

I have just realised I made an oversight in my inventory when I apped Finnick in that I brought him in with most of his military gear but I realise now that I should have included a military knife/dagger. Would it be ok for him to have that as well please?
no subject
Yes, it's fine for Finnick to have a military knife even though it wasn't mentioned in the app.

Thanks so much for all your hard work!

With help from Shepard and Annie, Peter and Ben could have learned from the diaries and maps that the previous residents had the same frustrations as the current ones with the landscape constantly changing. There would be notes that some features appear stable (some are marked 'X' on the map but there are no readable notes on what those features are). They would also note that some objects that have been around as long as the previous residents had disappeared, making it hard to know which resources outside the city were safe to rely on or utilize.
They would also discover a new danger: a note that one time a structure disappeared with a person inside it, and that person was also gone. It is unknown if the person disappeared, died, or was transported somewhere else, but they were not seen again.

I was hoping to ask if there would be any patterns they notice that would give any little hints what the person(s) responsible for the cameras might be documenting?
Sorry if this is worded weirdly and please let me know if this doesn't make sense and I need to explain more. THANKS Y'ALL ARE THE BEST.

They will also notice the footage occasionally cuts out abruptly, as though a part of it has been chopped out. And once, just once, a few frames of a bulky figure entering a room--is that Peter's room? It is--before it's chopped off sharply.
Also, if they dig deep and look carefully, they'll find older footage superimposed over the new in places. If they observe really carefully, they might recognize some of the people who come and go in the footage. More than a few of them appeared as ghostly figures a while back, reliving some kind of shootout.

So... if Starscream spent the better part of January out on the red shift
because I failed at activity and I should have hiatused but didn'twhilst looking for energon (which you've said previously he can find out there), he would have taken scans of his surroundings. Is there anything of note he might have located? Any kind of structures underground or above, or unusual formations, or anything that would have stood out to him? Thanks in advance!

Poison is going to go poking around looking for any of the panic rooms Joe told her about. What is she likely to find?
That is, where, how many, what (or who) is inside them when she finds them? :)

Exploration plot?
In regards to the City and the Beanstalk prompt on Feb's TDM, would it be possible for Starscream to acquire scans of the horizon city? Either during his previous scouting mission (from my previous request) or (if the city has just recently appeared) to go take some from the air?
Specifically, he would be looking for (or told to look for by others) resources or materials which are in short supply in Anchor. If he could identify a couple target areas of interest, ground teams of other characters could take the risk of being caught out in a Shift and make their way to those spots to gather what they need. So it's a little bit of exploration, a little bit treasure hunt, fun times with scavenging and hallucination for the whole family!
Thanks in advance!

There's also a lot of sand pits around, each one with a tidy hole at the bottom. A large hole. A, oh, sandworm-sized hole. Active at night, these creatures have familiar tentacle-lined mouths, and several orifices that stay tightly shut when they're moving but open wide to show of teeth when they go after each other. They could probably band together and attack Starscream if he came close enough, doing some damage. The kind of damage that would mean death for a squishy human (or other squishy creatures).
In short, it would take a big archeological-style dig or a powerful sand storm to uncover the city, but it could be worth the trip to salvage interplanetary debris.

I mostly use my phone to navigate and tag the various journals we use for RS and it's a little tricky to navigate back and forth. If I want to switch between the logs journal and the network for example, I have to go back to the log journal profile, scroll down, and select the link in the game blurb for the network community.
Is it possible we can put the links on the main community pages? This would make navigation much smoother.
Thank you <3

Can characters get pregnant?

Additionally, in order to be respectful of all players, we have a couple of additional requests. Please mark any threads with in-depth discussion of pregnancy or its symptoms with a content warning in the subject line, and miscarriage plots are not an option.

Sorry if I’m not asking in the right location, but I was curious about CRAU! I was interested in apping Gokudera in from Tanagura, which is currently locked and closed. He hasn’t been in that game (or any others), in roughly 3 years. I still have access to all of his old logs/threads, and he was there for a year, but wondered if it’s still applicable as CRAU. If not, that’s cool! Better safe than sorry
no subject
In this situation, Gokudera would be perfectly fine to app as a CRAU. We would require that you write a new sample showing his personality with the CRAU applied, and please be sure to be detailed about his CRAU history since the game is locked.
We look forward to reading your application!
