Hi! I wanted clarification if possible, regarding appable character guidelines, particularly this section under those that are not appable: AU versions of characters that are not supported by canon

Say a world that canonically had vampires, zombies, aliens, Bigfoot, and other supernatural/cryptid-like creatures in it. Would an AU of a character from that canon being a werewolf fall under 'an AU that could be supported by canon', even if a werewolf has not itself specifically been shown in said canon?
